We are excited to share a summary of the film screenings we’ve held since July 2024. Continue reading to learn how our screenings and panel discussions have engaged the community and advanced our mission. A big shout-out to all the members who have helped make this possible!
1. “State Organs” film screening on Friday, August 2nd, from 7pm to 9 pm at Victoria Law School in Melbourne, Australia
End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club and Human Rights Documentary Screenings in Melbourne Australia, co-hosted the “State Organs” documentary screening and talk at Victoria Law School. Dr. Liza Lau, the local representative from Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH), served as interviewer and moderator for the discussion with Raymond Zhang, Director of the" State Organs" documentary.The event was attended by over 70 participants including Alki Poon, founder of Freedom Connection Hong Kong, and Jane Poon, spokesperson for Australia-Hong Kong Link.Media CoverageThe screenings on Friday, Aug 2nd and Saturday, Aug 10th were reported together in an article by The Chinese Epoch Times: "State Organs shocks Melbourne audience: Stop the CCP's atrocities."

2. “State Organs” film screening on Saturday, August 10th, from 1:30pm to 4 pm at Hawthorn Library in Melbourne, Australia
End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club and Human Rights Documentary Screenings in Melbourne Australia, co-hosted a “State Organs” documentary screening and talk at Hawthorn Library in the suburbs of Melbourne.Dr. Liza Lau, the local representative from Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH), made some remarks on the latest developments on organ harvesting and took questions from the audience. 3. "State Organs" film screening on Friday, September 13th, from 7pm to 9 pm in Auburn, Washington, USA
End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club collaborated with the Rotary Club of Tacoma South and Compassion Washington for a film screening of the documentary "State Organs." Christine Gilge, founder and president of Compassion Washington, moderated the panel discussion. Over 80 audience members attended the film screening, followed by an engaging panel discussion with Raymond Zhang (film director), Cindy Song (film producer), Shirley Hu (Chair of End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club), Wen Chen (Chinese human rights activist), and Echo Liu (survivor of a Chinese labor camp).Media CoverageThe local Chinese Epoch Times reported on the event. 4. “State Organs” film screening on Saturday, September 14th, from 1:30pm to 3:30 pm at Lucas Community Hub, Ballarat, in Melbourne, Australia
End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club and Human Rights Documentary Screenings in Melbourne Australia, co-hosted a “State Organs” documentary screening and talk at Lucas Community Hall in Ballarat, a regional town located two hours from Melbourne. Dr. Liza Lau, the local representative from Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH), made some remarks, and labor camp survivor Angel deeply moved the audience with her story of survival. Read Angel's story here.The event was attended by over 30 participants including staff from the local Federation University. We suspect that cold and wet weather impacted attendance, as over 70 people had signed up for tickets prior to the event.
5. “State Organs” film screening on Thursday, October 3rd, from 5:30pm to 7:30 pm at Lewes Public Library in Lewes, Delaware, USA
The film screening held in Lewes Public Library was organized by End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club, and co-sponsored by Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH), Delaware Medical Freedom Alliance (DEMFA), and Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association (GPFDA). Mr. Cheng Pei Ming, the first known survivor of forced organ harvesting, was present to share his harrowing experience in person. Over 60 individuals attended the event, demonstrating high levels of engagement and proactive support for the cause. Several attendees made donations, while a council member expressed interest in funding an additional screening. Additionally, some participants extended invitations for End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club to present at the Lewes Rotary Club. Notably, three prominent members of the Lewes Rotary Club, including the President-Elect and the Public Image Director, were present in the audience. The screening was originally scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 pm; however, the emotional impact of the event kept attendees engaged until after 9 pm, when the electric company had to turn off the lights.Media CoverageNTD News reported on the event. 6. “State Organs” film screening on Monday, October 21st, from 5:30pm to 7:30 pm at Hockessin Public Library in Hockessin, Delaware, USA
The film screening held in Lewes Public Library was organized by End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club, and co-sponsored by Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH), Delaware Medical Freedom Alliance (DEMFA), and Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association (GPFDA). Mr. Cheng Pei Ming, the first known survivor of forced organ harvesting, was present to share his harrowing experience in person. There were 64 attendees, including State Representative Mike Ramone (running for Delaware governor), State Senator David Lawson, State Representative Paul Baumbach, State Representative candidates Alex Homich and Chris Beronio, and US Senate candidates Eric Hansen and Dr. Mike Katz. They all found the documentary an eye-opener and called for immediate action to stop the horrific crime of forced organ harvesting. Many attendees expressed their gratitude to the organizer for the courage shown in bringing the film to Delaware. Numerous individuals signed the Falun Gong Protection Act petition and pledged to contact U.S. Senator Chris Coons to advocate for action against forced organ harvesting.Media CoverageEpoch Times reported on the event. 7. “State Organs” film screening on November 9th from 1pm to 4 pm at Theatre N in Wilmington, DE, USA
The film screening held at Theater N was hosted by the End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club and supported by a panel of experts, including a survivor of persecution by the Chinese Communist Party due to his religious beliefs, a psychologist, Russo from Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting, and a board member for the Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association. Twenty-five attendees were deeply affected by the presentation of the atrocity, which stands as one of the most egregious human rights issues of our time.
Following the screening, all attendees signed a petition to demand an end to this inhuman crime.

8. “State Organs” film screening on Wednesday, January 29th, from 6pm to 8pm at Doylestown Borough Hall in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, USA
End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club, in partnership with Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting, (DAFOH.org), and Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association (GPFDA.org), held a movie screening of “State Organs” in Doylestown, PA. Forty-nine people attended the event. The crowd was very engaged and asked many questions. Most importantly, they wanted to know how they could help stop forced organ harvesting in China.Media CoverageThe Bucks County Herald, a community newspaper, reported on the event in advance of the screening. 9. “State Organs” film screening on Saturday, March 29, from 2pm to 4:30pm at the Philadelphia City Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club, in partnership with Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting, (DAFOH.org), and the Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association (GPFDA.org), held a movie screening of “State Organs” in Philadelphia, PA. 82 people registered for the screening, with six check-ins and eight walk-ins. Six orders were cancelled before the screening. The library was closed to the public due to an employee not being able to make it in that day. Those who came for the screening needed to identify that they were there for the screening and then they were allowed in.A power outage occurred when the film was set to begin. The moderator was able to use her slides to introduce the topic and panelists were brought in to start a discussion while the audience waited for the power to return. An extension cord was used to connect the television monitor to the circuit that still had power and the film began about 50 minutes after the film after its originally scheduled time. One or two people left while waiting for the film to start. Those who stayed were quite moved by the film and even clapped at the end! Panelists were brought back in after the film ended. The audience was very engaged during the panel discussion and asked many questions regarding how this could be happening and what they could do to help.Media Coverage

10. “State Organs” film screening on June 10th, from 6pm to 7:45pm at the Northampton Township Library, Richboro, Pennsylvania, USA
End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club, in partnership with Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting, (DAFOH.org), the Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association (GPFDA.org) and the business owner of RelaxPak, held a movie screening of “State Organs” in Richboro, PA. Thirty people attended the event. The audience was very engaged and asked many questions. Many people in the audience were moved by the personal experiences shared by one of the panelists, who had been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party. Other attendees offered suggestions to help spread the word about the documentary and forced organ harvesting in China. A nurse who assists with transplant operations said she will bring back information about forced organ harvesting to the hospital she works in.
Members of the Warrington, Warminister and Horsham Rotary Clubs were invited.

11. “State Organs “ film screening on June 23 rd from 1:30pm to 3:30pm at Calgary Central Library in Calgary, AB, Canada.
The screening drew an audience of over 100, including 59 Rotarians.
Amelia Stansell, the Rotary 7610 District Governor and Vice Chair of RAGAS, addressed the gathering with tears and stated her intention to present the film at her forthcoming district conference.

12. “State Organs “ film screening on June 23rd from 1:30pm to 3:30pm at Calgary Central Library in Calgary, AB, Canada.
More than 70 people attended including 11 Rotarians. Christy Brown, past president of Blacksburg Rotary club in VA was deeply touched and plans to host the “State Organs” screening at a local theater to invite 80 members of her club and the local communities.

Survivors, experts, and human rights defenders are calling for action during the Rotary International Convention from June 20-25 in Calgary, Canada. The activities included having a booth sponsored by Rotary District 5710 with focus on anti-sex trafficking and end forced organ harvesting at the House of Friendship and two screenings at the Central Library in Calgary, Canda.
