1. “State Organs” film screening on Sunday, September 27th, from 2:30pm to 5:00pm at Plymouth Arts Cinema in Plymouth, UK
End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club, with support from State Organs UK, held a screening of the award-winning documentary “State Organs” at Plymouth Arts Cinema in southwest England.Following the screening, Enver Tohti, a former surgeon from Urumqi, Xinjiang, shared his firsthand experience of removing organs from an executed prisoner in China in 1995. He spoke about how living under a totalitarian system had shaped his thinking at the time and how, after moving to the UK, he came to understand the gravity of what had happened. His testimony prompted numerous questions and an engaging discussion with the audience.
Organizer Yukari Werrell noted that the film presented facts that were unfamiliar to many audience members and praised Mr. Tohti for answering difficult questions with compassion and sharing his personal experiences under a totalitarian system. Read the full screening report below.
